Meet the fellows

Ed Pierson
This
is Ed's ninth year of singing the bass part, having joined the Chapel Quartet in the spring of
1999. We love having Ed in the group. He
has grown into a fine bass singer and has a wonderful spirit about
him.
Ed was recently married in 2006 to a
wonderful lady, Pam. After many years, the Lord knew just who to
put into Ed's life. We welcome Pam into the CQ wives' club with
open arms. Ed also has an ongoing health concern. He has
polycystic kidney disease, of which there is no cure. He went on
dialysis full time just before his wedding and continues to be on a waiting
list for a kidney transplant.
Ed works
for Gordon Food Service. After spending time
in Grand
Rapids, MI and Indianapolis, IN, Ed now resides with Pam and his cat, Peter, in his
home in Auburn, IN.
"I most enjoy the opportunities to sing the praises
of our
Lord, Jesus Christ and also to spread His Good News to others."

Brian
Eager
Brian Eager is the newest member
of the quartet, joining in the fall of 2002. Although new to
Southern Gospel singing, he has been singing 4-part harmony
since his high school days, and as baritone for CQ has now
completed the cycle. As a teenager he was the bass in his high
school quartet, joined the
Summit City Chorus as a lead in 1991, and sings tenor with
Those Guys, a registered quartet with the
Barbershop Harmony Society.
During the work day, Brian is a
service technician for Sears, Roebuck and Co.'s Parts and Repair
Services division
Brian and his wife Barbara live
east of Harlan, IN and are the parents of Becky, Benjamin and
Brent. (no, the alliteration of their first names was not
planned, unless it was God’s plan)
"We know that the Lord works in
mysterious ways. My first recording with the Chapel Quartet,
He Said Live was released in early 2004. At the time of the
recording, I was not aware that my father, Dale, had just a few
months to live after a long battle with cancer. He and my Mom
came to our performance at Taylor Chapel in Fort Wayne, IN that May and picked up
a copy of the CD. He told me how much he was enjoying getting to
listen to it each night as he went to sleep. Just days before he
went home to the Lord, he told me: ‘Son, I’ve seen some glimpses
of the other side, and I’m telling you there’s nothing to be
afraid of.’ So I need to pass this good news along, and what
better way than through good old Southern Gospel music."

Brad Davis
Brad is our lead singer and the last
charter member of the 15 year old group. Originally from Pennsylvania, he has made his home in Fort Wayne,
Indiana since 1979. Brad and his wife Brenda have been married for
22 years and have two children, Laura and Patrick.
Brad
has very diverse hobbies. When his schedule allows, he likes to act
down at the Fort Wayne Civic
Theatre. He portrayed Max Detweiller in the "Sound of
Music", and has played the brother Simeon in "Joseph and
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." When he isn't driving or
tinkering on his classic Volkswagen, you'll find him dressed in
blue, rooting on his Indianapolis Colts. He's been a fan since a guy
named Unitas played for them in Baltimore.
Brenda was diagnosed and treated for cancer in 2005, a
lyposarcoma. She had surgery and 33 radiation treatments. She is
now cancer-free almost 2 years after the surgery. Praise the Lord! It
was during the diagnosis of that cancer that our song
"Not Gonna Worry"
became very real to us.
"I couldn't handle the stress and anxiety of not knowing
what was going to happen. So I laid the burden at the feet of Jesus
and let him lift the load with me"
God is good, all the time!"

Greg Brown
This is the ninth year
that Greg has been singing tenor for
the quartet. He came to the CQ in 1999, and had been singing Southern Gospel music for
many years with
several other men's and mixed quartets. Greg is married to Faun
and they live in Fort Wayne with their two sons, Alex and Richard. Greg
and Faun have also done some singing
together.
Greg works as a Sales Representative for
a local construction company. When he gets the chance, he loves to
spend time in the great outdoors.
"It is exciting to do our Lord's work in such a powerful way.
I pray that our music ministers as much to those who hear it as it
does to me."
